The Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
    • Fresh or store-bought, it doesn’t matter
  • 2 packs of finely chopped oil-packed anchovy fillets
  • 1 minced clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp of kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp of black pepper
  • ⅓ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ oz of grated Parmesan cheese. It will equal out to about ⅓ of a cup
  • 3 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp of garlic powder
  • 4 Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 4 rolls or a loaf of bread from Egypt Star Bakery

The Directions

  1. In a blender, add in the anchovy fillets, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Blend together until smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the olive oil until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Put the chicken in a medium-sized bowl and pour the dressing over the chicken. Toss it until it’s coated.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together the garlic powder and mayonnaise.
  6. Even brush the cut sides of the rolls with the mayonnaise mixture.
  7. Heat up a skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the bread for about 2 minutes or until it’s golden brown.
  8. Add the lettuce to the rolls along with the chicken mixture and enjoy!
