Everything’s better with chocolate, am I right? This process not only provides a decadent chocolate candy on a stick but also is a fun project to teach the kids. The easiest way to melt chocolate is by again using the microwave. Place chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat this process until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted. You may then either insert a skewer or popsicle stick into the peep to make it a pop, or you may simply place the peep directly in the chocolate. Just be careful not to burn yourself! Place the dipped peeps on wax paper on a flat tray or baking sheet and let them cool in the fridge for 10 – 15 mins. Voila, a delicious treat that will keep the kids happy and occupied
