How long does fresh bakery bread stay good?

 Fresh bakery bread is typically best enjoyed within two to three days when stored properly at room temperature. Because it is made fresh without many of the preservatives found in packaged bread, it delivers better flavor and texture but has a shorter shelf life. For the best quality, enjoy it while it's fresh or freeze any extra bread for later.

What is the best way to store fresh bread?

 Fresh bread should be stored at room temperature in a bread box, paper bag, or loosely wrapped to help preserve its crust and texture. Refrigeration is generally not recommended because it can cause bread to dry out more quickly. If you won't finish the loaf within a few days, freezing is the best option.
