Easy Spinach Dip Carve-Out Recipe
This classic crowd-pleaser pairs perfectly with a warm, crispy loaf of bread. Try it with our rye or pumpernickel, baked fresh daily! Spinach dip comes together with minimal effort and has maximum flavor. Serve it at casual gatherings, holiday parties, or getting together to watch the game. This recipe is perfect for practically any occasion!
10oz spinach (chopped, frozen)
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups sour cream
1 package of dry veggie soup mix
8oz water chestnuts (canned, drained)
3 green onions (chopped)
- Let the spinach defrost overnight in the fridge. If you’re short on time, microwave spinach until thawed. Squeeze any moisture out.
- Chop your water chestnuts, then toss into the mixture with all of your other ingredients. Be sure to mix them well!
- Pop it in the fridge for about 2 hours before serving.
- Take a fresh loaf of your favorite Egypt Star Bakery bread, carve out the center, and scoop your spinach dip into the middle. (Bonus: save the carved-out middle section for dipping!)
